"DRAWING: On or about May 26, 2009, the Sponsor will select two potential winners in a random drawing of all entries received. The odds of being selected depend on the number of entries received. The Sponsor will attempt to notify the potential winners within five (5) days of the drawing. If a potential winner cannot be contacted within five (5) days after the first attempt to contact him/her, the Sponsor may select an alternate potential winner in his/her place at random from the remaining entries."

Um I think release date is on that Monday. What will we do and what happens if one of the forum members win. HMMMM.

OK - confusion ensues. The announcement above states that the sweepstakes begins at midnight tonight, but we can apparently sign up now. Does this mean that any sign ups between now and then are not entered into the sweepstakes??

my family and i almost every phone sprint had now i have htc pro my brithday was day after mother day i told my husband and the kids all i want is this phone i have been on the internet and the sprint store every week to see if was out or when its coming out i really want this phone it,s going to be crazy when it hit the stores.

i can't wait for the phone to come out i am purchasing it for my son he just returned from Iraq that will be his welcome home gift. he loves hi tech phones. all the coments seems positive, i will check the japanese side of the fence maybe they have it already

I should get a free Pre, after the 3 years I have put up with my various crappy HTC 6700s. I paid good money for the phone, and have had it replaced at least 4 times, and would have been more if store wasn't so far from me. Basically I can't use it for much more than a phone and contact list, and text. All the applications crash regularly, hardware regulary, yet intermittently (regularly) won't act or respond correctly or at all. I have tried hard and soft resets and still just stinks no matter which refurbishedd phone they provide. I don't get calls that I should or emails/voice mails people sent, I cant use some software my husband uses on his PDA with windows mobile 5.5 with no problems, but it always crashes on me on this phone and causes other problems so I finally just took it off. So I paid a fortune for a phone that the features I get to use are those of a basic phone you get for free when you renew your contract & I have been with Sprint for over 10 years. Not sure I would except family uses so saves money on calls, but everyone who had coverage for HTC 6700 Phone who has had it replaced at least 3 times should get a LEMON LAW replacement, like on cars. Most people would have thrown the phone in their faces and cancelled their account (I could leave when I want because past last contract period). Looking to see if I can get some kind of discount on the PRE or the 6700 replaced with a Touch Pro or something a little newer that is known to be more stable. Because like I said it probably would have been replaced double the times I have, because I am not close to repair store and so much is intermittent, and I just put up with having a $600 piece of junk that $100 phones are moree stable and agile. SPRINT REP DID YOU READ ANY OF THIS? Probably not.

Yes I feel you, I have had my times with Sprint as well, I currently have the blackberry aand i'm very happy with it but i can't wait until the pre come out, I think I look out on line EVERYDAY! I believe it will come out on June 5th or the 6th. Ive always wanted a touch phone, I think I have had every phone that sprint has had, I difently did not like the Insticnt, i do hope to be one of the winners....

My entry went through... I just want to know when the damn phone is gonna come out because I'm tired of this damn Treo 755.... I've had to replace it two times and the one I have now keeps trying to update. What for, I've only had the damn phone for 2 weeks. The shit keeps knocking me off when I'm trying to make booty calls. I hope this phone doesn't do that or I'm kirking the hell off....

Does anyone know if you need to upgrade to the everything plan to get/use this phone? I had a great old-style plan and want to get the pre but don't want to change my plan. Thanks

Well if everything was given for FREE. Sure yu can get a FREE phone, but do realize the highly anticipated phone with the greatest and latest is NOT it. Be realistic!
