Verizon Wireless plans to start selling the Palm Pre and a new version of the touchscreen BlackBerry Storm in about six months, the top executive for the venture of Verizon Communications Inc and Vodafone Group Plc said on Thursday.
"Over the next six months or so you will see devices like Palm Pre and a second generation Storm," on the Verizon Wireless networks McAdam said.

Ya im still switching. Verizon lies and always takes alot longer. Their plans are more expensive, and also they make u pay for each additional option u want and attempt to screw u over at every turn. So gooodbye verizon. Hello Sprint and the Pre :)

FUD, FUD, FUD. First ATT's CEO makes comments in relation the Pre, a day later Verizon is running with similar comments. Where are the Palm official saying the same thing?... Odd isn't it? Other words, Verizon and ATT are saying to their customers, "please don't leave us for Sprint." I am shocked that these blogs which are dedicated to the Plam Pre are running with this speculation. Here is the comment from Verizon: "Over the next six months or so you will see devices lIKE Palm Pre and a second generation Storm," on the Verizon Wireless networks McAdam said. I capitalized the word "LIKE". That being said, I seriously doubt the Pre is going to ATT or Verizon.

The other key word being "6 months OR SO". Or so what 9 months or a year?

**but don't expect the Pre to be fully functional, as we plan to cripple the hell out of it**
