I had faith in the beginning, then 3 months go by and the only fix that i have noticed with the updates has been battery life.

IMO this phone is the biggest flop of any phone to come out to date. I'm saying that because all the hype it had. You still can't forward text, you can't take video, you have to download a special app to change system sounds, and your odds of winning the lottery are better than your odds of successfully answering a phone call.

here is what i hate about my phone

- the phone app, its the buggiest app on the whole PHONE. after all it is a phone so this is where it should function best. When i have an incoming call and i touch the answer button i get a missed call notification. then when i click on call back it goes to that persons contact info. say i want to look for a person in my recent call history, that is a pain in the ass because the phone struggles to run the recent call list

- the build quality. my slider is so loose that the top part of the phone will twist so far that i can't hit the button to turn the screen on without using two hands. then i have to because to slowly slide it shut because if i'm not my phone will shut down, then i have to wait for it to boot up. I'm getting old, i don't have time for that.

- the design. the keyboard is tiny and the screen isn't the biggest. but that much i knew when i bought the phone

- the features. lets see, I'll just go with the good here because that is a lot less typing. Multi tasking is alright, this is the one single advantage over the iphone. lets not forget that the pre is a hitman hired to assassinate the iphone. the browser is very impressive

- the app store. everything cost money, we can't afford to pay 4 dollars just to check our netflix queue from our pre, we just spent all the money we had been saving to buy our pre.

- the single coolest thing about the phone is an over priced accessory, and it like the phone doesn't always work right. I'm talking about the touchstone. ahh yes, i remember seeing videos on youtube about the pre and touchstone. how you just lay your phone on it and it magically charges, and comes with the pre. wait a minute, you don't just lay it on there, you have to slide around and find a sweet spot which sometimes is more difficult than plugging a phone into a charger (unless you own a pre, then it is like trying to break into area 51). Oh wait, come to find out that video lied, you have to buy the touchstone separately which just adds to your sprint store bill.

- the price. lets see, yep more than a hero, more than a moment, more than a my touch, more than an iphone. i really feel like i was taken advantage of at this point for buying a pre

if the next update fixed all the software problems then i might consider keeping it. I got one the first week they were out and i have had the same one since, most people are on their 3rd or 4th by now, i can't imagine how i would feel about the phone if i were in that same boat.

my current heading is android, and i don't see anything changing my course
