Finding preware on fone

I have been trying to get the LED blink alert after reading the message board about it, but I cant find preware on my fone...Help pls...thnxs

Welcome to the site Cocoa.

You need to use a computer and download and install WebOS Quickinstall first. Then you can install Preware. However, I've found I can dow more using the patches and tricks with WebOS Quickinstall. Preware is more for when your on the go and want to make changes. Follow the linnk below for the directions.

Thnxs Shaun0207...I just completed my first patch and running on the high of it...appreciate the help...I now know when I miss a message on my pixi.... *cheesy grin*

Hey Shaun..ure my go to guy now...hope u dont mind...I just installed the LED torch from the applications but its not working even tho i installed the sysmgr that the creator said is needed...do you know anything about this that u might be able to offer a suggestion for why its not working? Thnxs....Cocoa

I have the LED notification installed and its operated from the same menu that my Sounds & Ringtones are in. Is that what you are talking bout? I used a patch for LED notification, but it wasnt called Torch

Hey Sorry Im just gettn back to u...I already have the LED notification blink alert. What I was actually asking is about another "ware" if thats what theyre called...Its called LED torch where it uses the LEd that is already installed on the fone for the camera but there is the patch that allows u to use the LED as a torchlight..from the WebOS list..I dloaded the LED torch and the sysmgr file that the creator said needed to be dload for the torch to work, but I havent been able to get it to work and was wondering if u had any suggestions...thnxs...
