Default Delete ALL Calendar Appts at Same Time?

Does anyone know of a way to basically wipe the calendar and start over? I can't seem to find anything like this in the preferences and I'd hate to think we are supposed to delete one by one!

    Thanks!

This is the only way I found, but you can start again IMO with same account or new from zero.

Stopping synchronization of Calendar with an online account

If you synchronize Calendar with an online account, you can delete the account from Calendar. Deleting the account from Calendar also deletes the account’s events from your phone.

IMPORTANT Deleting your Exchange account in Calendar also deletes and stops synchronization of all your Exchange accounts—Email, Contacts, and Tasks. Deleting another type of online account deletes and stops synchronization of calendar events only—if you also sync contacts or email messages with that account, those items continue to synchronize.

    Open Calendar .
Open the application menu, and tap Preferences & Accounts.
Under Accounts, tap the account name.
Tap Remove Account and tap Remove Calendar Account.
