While I am only a Pre owner for approx 30 days, I'm ok with it and have not changed my stance on it being better than a Blackberry. Provided though, Palm listens to us and continues to update quirks and fixes (in some cases faster than slower) I think the mood may swing. Just my two cents.

I bought my Pre on launch day, and I'm on the 2nd one only because the top power button stopped working. I will always have a Pre and I couldn't imagine going to any other phone. I do however feel Palm has dropped the ball on fixing simple issues such as the App limit storage issue and something simple like being able to change the font on e-mails. (Verdana 12 is not very appealing).

I've hacked my Pre with patches, WebOS doctored a few times...and while there are numerous patches that do make the phone better, why can't we get official fixes from Palm? Normal every day people, like my 67 year old father in law who is getting a Pre is not going to hack the Pre with patches and homebrew...Palm has to get on the ball with this!! I bought my first App today, the Email emoticon Pro, which I love...but, I had to delete an App to install this one. How is this even fair to other developers?
