Palm Pre FAQ Update Thread

I have saved a repeated link in my bookmarks. I tried to delete one of them by putting my finger on one of the bookmarks and sending it to the right side in order to delete it. Am I doing this right, or do I have to open the card itself and then send it to the right side of the screen? Tia

I am having the same problem and so far the only thing I don't like on the phone Please someone help. Also what I am trying to do is set up a sort of categories like the trio had. So if I type food all restaurants come up and Doctors bring up all medical contacts

Right now there is no way to categorize contacts on the Pre. I'll add this to the FAQ.

If you need a question answered please try the general forums. This thread is designed to house answers to the most common questions, rather than offer individualized support. (Plus more people will see your question in the general forum )

I am having this exact same FRUSTRATING issue and saw your reply to this. I am brand new to this site and I looked at the general forums but did not see any post on this topic. Could you provide a link or at least some direction to where we, who suffer from this, can go for help?

I moved my contacts from Outlook via the onetime Palm transfer tool, so my situation is different in the source of the contacts, but the same in that I edit the contact, see the edit take hold and then IMMEDIATELY revert to the OLD DATA!! It's crazy and frustrating.

The only workaround I have found is to edit the contact data in my GMAIL account while online and then syncronizing the contacts to the phone.

I appreciate any help in pointing me to a better source for an answer to this.

I suggest you search for a similar question in the Palm Pre section, and if you don't find anything that helps you then ask a new question there. Most folks come to this thread to look up a specific answer to a a specific question, so the "foot traffic" isn't that high. You'll stand a much better chance of getting help in the general forums.

having problems using phonezoo. after click on link in text to download it starts flipping cards across screen and wont stop. couldnt find a general forum. could you help?

I just updated to 1.2 and really notice how quick the Pre is now. everything from opening app's to functionality
