Next WebOS update?

Any word on when the next update will be out, and what is suppose to be in it???

Don't care the about the iTunes sync, but anything else good???

I haven't seen anything regarding the next update. Plenty of speculation, but nothing in terms of concrete features.

Personally, I hope it's more optimization than anything. I'd prefer a bit more zing in the OS.

Me too, Chris. I could careless about iTunes. DoubleTwist works great.

Downloaded it yesterday, but need to set it up properly. This will work out great for me, since I own a variety of devices. I really wish it had Zune HD support though...

lol. We think the sameway. Dont have the HD yet, but I would like to use it with my Zune 80GB

I dont think the next update will be enough for people to stop jumping over to Android, I read some where that Android is the next big thing, maybe pre2 with webOS 3.0 will be better chance to keep up with other companies but this current build of the pre cant, the physical build and the OS cant keep up with whats out there now and what will be out 6 months from now. Current pre missing to many things that should have been there out of the box. I keep playing with wifes Hero and the Hero is better then the pre, but i feel that the Pre for some reason has more freer OS in terms of use, Hero has 7 screens to work with while pre has 3, I know there are lot of patches and tweaks but is not point. The point is that Pre missed boat on some things and now play catch up is not easy, and stock down 13% does not hold well. Someone should just come in and buy out Palm.

I love my Zune HD. For some reason, I just appreciate that it's a music only device.

Beyond the normal wishes, I really hope the next update will give me my damn ability to use my alarm clock w/o having to tell all my friends not to msg me at night or having to go to Airplane mode to make it so a sms notification doesn't stop my alarm from going off. A very very stupid "downgrade" if you ask me.
