Straight from the totally unbiased palmpixi.org.

That's about as useful as a "13 Ways the iPhone is Better Than the Palm Pixi" article on everythingicafe.com.

All I'm saying is that the opposite article on an iPhone site would have valid points as well. :dft012:wink

Interesting, if not flawed, read. However, I still prefer WebOS.

Thanks for mentioning it guys (yes it's my article).

Thunderwang, I agree with what you said, and I mentioned that viewpoint early in the first paragraph when I pointed out that the Palm Pixi lacks wifi and the ginormous number of applications.

Of course PalmPixi.org is going to write articles from a Palm Pixi viewpoint. If you look at the Boston Globe's sports section they aren't going to be writing too many articles about how great the Yankees are.

To be fair, your article does make valid points. As an owner of the Pixi, of course I have a bit of bias towards it. I wish the screen was a tad bit bigger, but other then that, I'm happy with the phone. The physical keyboard is top notch, and the form factor (IMO) is terrific. I have great coverage from Sprint, so the lack of wifi isn't a burden to me at all.

In fact, I venture to say the only point I disagree with comes in terms of the open development arguement. We are techies, so utilyzing the homebrew scene is great. But the common consumer just wants the phone to work. I'm not a fan of closed ecosystems, but Apple has it down to T. (Looking at it from the uniformed eyes of the average customer.)

You wouldn't see that type of article on iCafe, since they aren't biased.:dft012:wink

Valid point, but I'm guessing they had to after the World Series.:dft003:cool Good luck with the site.

Good grief, I hate the Yankees. Even more now, since they just plucked my favorite player. (Granderson)...

Just wait until they get Halladay and re-sign Damon. I'd say that be a successful offseason and put them in a good position to defend the title.

They were already in that position. I still think they are going to make a play for Ardolis Chapman, the fireballing lefty from Cuba. Oh well, the rich get richer. Sad day for my Tigers though. With the 3 starters they had (Verlander, Jackson, & Porcello), they were always in most games. What a terrible offseason. No Rodney, No Lyon, No Granderson, No Polanco, & No Jackson. Bloated contract for Gullien, Ordonez, Willis, Robertson, Bonderman, etc...

Opps, sorry for the rant and the off-topic-ness. Im a little steamed, to say the least. :)

Well what would baseball be without the Yankees Red Sox rivalry. I am a Yankees fan from back in the days of black and white TV -showing my age a little bit?
