Well, I just got my PS in the mail today and installed. I used to have the Invisible Shield on but didn't like the tackiness, so I took it off. Comparing the 2 really is no comparison at all. First off, there is 0 tackiness with the PS...I mean none. Second, the PS goes on much much easier. There were no bubbles under the PS after install. Third and most important is that there is basically 0 orange peel...just a nice clear screen. There are a couple small ripples that I'm confident will disappear with time, but after 10 mins it already looks as good as the IS did after a week. Just my short little review. If you are on the fence between the two, there is no doubt...go with PS. I would post pics, but there are plenty on here that are good solid representations.

I'll second that. PS is great. I was nervous about making mine was on right so I took about a 1/2 hour on each piece:embarassed:

i put my order in yesterday night and paid for priority like 4 dollar shipping do u know how long it usually takes to ship and does it come with 2 or 1 cause i ordered 2so ifit does come with 2 in one pack i would have 4 then i just wasnt sure so i went with 2 and does the cut look the same or is it a different cut like corners?

each kit comes with a front and back skin...so you are going to have 4 total or 2 sets. I honestly have no idea why someone would pay more to get an invisible shied when you only get 1 skin and they are not as nice.

well i said in my order screen only so im guessing i will get 2screens in each packageso 4 total and how long didit take for you to get them

If you ordered yesterday evening, your order shipped today. Priority Mail via the USPS says 2-3 days for shipments in the continental US. We have had a few instances lately where the USPS has taken longer than expected, but eventually they came through with the delivery. With that being said, you should have your order Monday or Tuesday, at the latest. Additionally, all Internet orders of PhantomSkinz ship with 2 kits in every order. Although "room temperature" water will work, adding a slight amount of soap will definitely help in the installation of any skin. We recommend Johnson's Baby Wash. It is a very pure soap without a lot of wax and additives. Other soaps will work, but again, only use a very small amount. Personally, I would stay away from dish soaps. They are extremely soapy/foamy.

The key here is "very little" soap. If you use too much, your skin will keep sliding around and will not stick. Our ratio is 1 drop for 32 ounces of water. After adding the soap to the water, mix it and wait until all of the bubbles have disappeared. Then dip your skin in the solution and apply it to your device. One last comment...if you do get too much soap in your solution, rinse your skin under the faucet, empty the solution and re-fill your container/bowl. The remaining soap, when mixed with the new water, should be enough to make your installation a breeze.

Although my response is wordy, it is very simple and helps in the installation. My only other thought is that our design team uses the same solution, but only in clean spray bottles.

You can only use Ultra PALMolive dishwashing liquid with the Pre. It's in the user's manual. Using Joy, Dawn or any other cheap imitations will void the warranty. LOL. j/k

How could I have missed that. Of course, you can ONLY use PALMolive with the Pre. My mistake!

Do any retailers sell Phantom Skinz? After seeing the posts about them here, I'm pretty much sold on them, but don't want to wait for them to come in the mail (i.e.- I want to apply them today).

How is the thickness/scratch protection compared with the InvisibleShield?

We believe that the scratch protection is the same or better than IS. Our thickness is 8.5-9 mils and I have no idea what theirs is. Ours looks unbelievable when you try to push a pen or pencil though it.
