Another Video Converter 3gp_Converter

I posted this on SU and the post was deleted... not sure why, but can't find it..

1) Download 3gp_converter. You can do a search on google for it.. I believe the latest edition is 034. Also download this attatchment for settings

2) Extract the contents of 3gp_Converter.zip and extract the INI file attatched into 3gp_Converters default_settings folder.

3) Now start up Setup.exe for 3gp_Converter. You will see japanese languages, but you should also see Palm Pre in the list.. you can change this to ENGLISH via the bottom scroll bar.

4) Select the PALM PRE option

5) Now OPEN 3gp_converter and you can choose between LOW (192kbps), Medium (384kbps), High(600kbps), Higher(768kbps).

6) Goto OUTPUT FOLDER and select a folder to output your file to.

7) Drag and DROP the file into the white space/box and it should start converting.

8) Wait until the progress box is empty, even if the progress bar has stopped.

I tested this with a 39.6 xvid file and it came out to
size LOW 8MB, Medium 14 MB, High 20MB and HIGHER 25mb.. I also tested this with a 700MB xvid avi and with HIGH option it only dropped it to 650MB... I would say leave it at 384 or 600...

384 looked good with some artifacting noticable if you looked, but 600 looked very nice, but again the size difference...

Anyway if you have any better settings let me know or post it here... thought I would give another option..
