Any way to get a wifi only pre? I would like to get a pre that I would only use over wifi, that would be updateable as new versions of web os come out. Is this possible?
I remember seeing that discussed somewhere and I think it is possible to run the phone on wifi only. Maybe someone else will chime in on this.
I believe all you have to do with any Pre is turn on Airplane Mode, and then turn on WiFi. Presto! wifi only!
So, you think it would function even if there was no account associated with it. No snags with updates or backups?
