Back cover question This questions breaks in two following: As the touchstone kit come with a special back cover, is it plastic. Any difference in thickness or strength? I ask that question because I would like to find an accessory kit with alluminium or steel backcovers. Just imagine how much slicker the phone could be if it came with some brushed alluminium covers.
i havent; bought a touchstone kit yet. I'm still on the fence about it, but I went and looked at one. the back cover is made if plastic. it has more of a mat finish. Not sure about the strength or thickness. as far as the metal covers. I would totally love to have a brushed aluminum cover. I think the engineering of it my be tough, though. the plastic covers flex so that they can be attached to the phone. a metal cover would have to have a different way of attaching to the phone. maybe that's why no one has produced one yet.
I got the touchstone and it is awesome, dont have to open the USB door to charge it so it wont break, and about the cover it is better cause it is not glossy and has a better feel to it, it is the same thickness.
