Don't use Preware for Themes... Just a warning, never use Preware for installing themes. Preware is awesome, don't get me wrong. It's great for installing Homebrew apps and patches. But I've heard, read, and have experienced first hand, nightmares trying to remove themes that were installed with Preware. It has a bad habit of leaving files behind, especially themes that included patches. You'll have a much more smooth experience installing themes with the WebOS Quick Install Program.
I had the same issue but that only if it a full theme that changes buttons, such as the backup and bluetooth etc.
