Hubs and I both have the pre and I ordered 4 cases from handhelditems.com.

    Here's what I ordered:

2 rubberized hard cases, one works perfectly and one got hung up on the phone (not cut quite right).
1 silicone case. pure crap. wouldn't stick to the phone for 2 seconds.
1 hard case, worked fine, it was just a metallic color and that isn't my style.

the cases are in the $5-7 range, shipping was $2.85 and dealnews.com has a 30%off coupon using coupon code "palmpre30". My order arrived within a 5 days (including a weekend).

I'm sending back 3 of the 4 cases and ordering some others to try.

We also ordered the car mount, and hubs loves it. it was about $6 too.

I have no idea how the quality would compare with the sedido charger, and I don't use the touchstone so that is a non-issue for me. For the 1 rubberized case that worked, it's on hubs phone and he totally loves it. Since sedido claims their rubberized case is 1mm, I checked mine and it's the same.

I've attached 2 pics, 1 with and 1 without flash. sorry they're grainy, took them using my pre.

    Car mount you say?

I had 3 Rocketfish cases and one was pretty bad.
That one, clear, was also a little thicker in the screen area, as yours looks, and I didn't care for that.

The Gun Metal and black worked perfect. Although didn't protect my phone from a nasty drop, it still cracked.

Why didn't you like the silicone case? I've been looking for one.

It had a 0% chance of staying on the phone. My #1 choice would be a silicone case too, but this one was NOT the answer. The back part did stay on a little better than the front one, but it was basically useless.

not if you leave phone open while using car mount. that is what we do, so we can simultaneously charge while using GPS

Ya I'd like to know how it holds up as far as the suction in the summer heat . I'm in Texas and my last mount wouldn't stay up once it got hot.

In case anyone else was wondering (as I was), the suction cup seems to have a locking mechanism on it, which does help to make things much more sturdy and easier to remove as well. I was looking for something like this for when I get my Pre. I'm definitely going to order this one after seeing this review as well as the others on the site.
