is there a Howard Stern app for the palm pre?

Sorry if this has been covered, but my brother listens to Howard on his iphone through pocket tunes. This could be a deal breaker for me. I'm ready for an upgrade, but I'm afraid to commit if I can't get Stern.

I don't believe there is currently any way to listen to Howard Stern on the Pre. Out of curiosity, how does Pocket Tunes allow you to do so? As far as I know, even the official Sirius|XM iPhone app doesn't include Stern or several other "premium" channels.

I have no idea how Pocket Tunes has Howard, but they do. It is odd considering that Sirius/XM blocked the Howard channels on it's ipone app. I'd love to be able to listen to Stern at work.

I did some research, and it looks like the Pocket Tunes app lets you log into your Sirius account and directly access the internet stream like you would from a computer. It's quite ingenious, actually.

Now that the Mojo SDK has been released, I would be willing to bet that a WebOS version of the app is already in the works.

i emailed pocket tunes back in june. the response was along the lines of "it's policy not to comment on possible upcoming apps."

I would definitely pay for it. In fact, at $9.99 (that's what they charge for the iPhone app), I'd say it's quite a bargain.

This won't happen per to his contract. This will NEVER happened either. The only way we can listen to Crazy Alice is if somebody finds a good hack.

Once we get more codecs for the media player or another media player that can support it, orbitcast has someone that streams howard101, at least you can get it on delay.

Go to classic.shoutcast.com. It allows you to stream most of the stations on there!! I'm listening to Howard 101 right now. They are running this mornings replay. Just type in Howard's name in the search field. The first link doesn't work but the second is streaming perfectly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
