I think I may be more excited that the phone will "probably" cost around $200. That will surely make folks on other networks give the Pre more consideration. Only fools and apple fanbois are stoopid enough to pay an early termination fee on top of the $500-$600 pricetag for a new smartphone when it's launched.
I agree completely. That sentence jumped out of the page. I hope he is right. I would hate the thought of waiting this long and then them releasing a high priced really great phone that I really, really want.
This sentence came across as particularly ignorant. The Universal search (as far as I know) doesn't automatically do search engine searches. It searches the device's software/contacts first and then if it finds nothing, brings up some online options which will open a browser window for you. I could see that sentence misleading people. The rest of it was a nice read though, and I agree that the statement about the price is great news (and I've figured as much all along)
Yep, although I hope webOS will allow for additional places to search, as well as the ability to save the typed text in say, memos, for quick saving of info.
