Let's face it, everyone is expecting big things from HP Palm at CES 2011. I'm already booked for CES, so as long as I get an invite, I'll be live-blogging the HP Palm Event. That's assuming there is an event.

I think they bring some major hardware out at CES. Palm has been pretty active the previous two years. Now they have HP backing them. No reason to think they won't use this event to announce a big device.

The Palm Pad, Palm Mansion and Palm Broadway ,perhaps . I really really hope they come with an stunning smartphone hardware beyond the competition, otherwise I don“t see what is next for them, at least in the smartphone sector.

I'm just hoping they have something better than the Pre2 coming. I really hope they have something out by Xmas, but I doubt it.

I highly doubt it. It's the Pre 2 and then bring on the HP devices.

Do you think HP/Palm will reveal or show up , at least the new 5 or 6 form factors devices( rumors) (case hardware frame) that will come for 2011 in CES 2011.? or am I asking too much?

    I think you're asking too much.:D

I think they need to make a splash, but how do they go about that. Will a single heavily specced out phone be enough? If they show multiple phones, perhaps that's not as exciting. Look at the the Windows Phone launch. There are a handful of phones, so it's tough for one to stand out. (although the Samsung Focus does in many ways). In the past, Palm has been all about one phone -- similar strategy to Apple and the iPhone. One phone, that's it.

That's the phone side. What about tablets? Do they show a webOS pad?
