Mystery solved: Palm EOS? If you haven't heard by now, just hit the link for the "next" webOS device: http://www.precentral.net/palm-eos-thin-gsm-awesome
something fishy about that picture. Obviously it's a mock up, but it looks to be terribly done. I am, however excited about the possibility of webOS on many different hardware types...
The only thing that I see wrong with it is that while you're typing, you may accidentally hit the gesture bar area . The screen seems too small too, but maybe that's just me and my want to see movies on a larger screen.
So it's a BlackBerry form factor with iPhone-like capabilities? Welcome to the "Fat Middle". I liked it on my Q, liked it more on the Bold, but always missed a solid browsing experience and rich apps offered on the iPhone. I've never used a slider, so the the Pre will be a new form factor for me. (not counting the G1). This is a familiar form factor with lots of upside. It's just nice to see more devices already. Devs should start getting on the bandwagon.
I was wondering which of these Pre versions will come to Europe and Latin America GSM First version with slider keyboard has 3mpxls camera and second one just 2mpxls I will think both of it for customer choices?
Looks like just the kind of phone my wife would like: functional, small, sleek. Can't wait to see it, but I think I'd still want the pre for myself.
Agreed, especially textaholics such as myself, Hmmm... maybe I'll be picking myself up 2 phones, ha I wish!
Is this the device rumored to be coming to Sprint Q3? That device had a microSD slot to stretch the 4G capacity which appeals to the spaceaholic in me. Hard plastic QWERTY both the Pre and Eos...I'll miss my Centro gel keys; I think they are easier to type on.
It will not come with a SD card slot at least from the news we have until now For me is a good option actually I have 4GB on my Treo 680 still having almost a 1GB left and I have a lot of info, music, apps, games .... About the keyboard shape it is not confirmed yet http://news.cnet.com/mini-palm-pre-pre-centro-in-the-works/

It'll be interesting to see the reviews. I think I'm still going to have to wait a lil bit until I see a full on review, with intensive/extensive use.
I'm happy to see that Palm isn't only holding Sprint's hand with WebOS. That screen is smaller than the Pre's, yes?
