Palm Pre Headset i just messed around with the palm pre headset that comes shipped with the phone and i decided to post up features i found out the headset has a button close to the headphones now if your listening to music on your pre u can pause the song by pressing the button once, and if u want to skip the song ur listening just press the button twice (like a mouse click) and you forward the song i do believe this are the only features u can do while listening to music, now the only drawback or problem i see is when i press to the button twice i am not sure if i paused the current song, changed songs and paused the song, or forwared the song. just something i need to get the hang of i guess now for videos the headset does nothing more than become regular headphones the button in the middle get disabled i guess lastly the headset works when you make a phone call the only feature i found out is just to hang up :tounge: when ur talking on the phone while using the headset pressing the button on the headset just hangs up thats all i found out for the headset if any one finds somethin thats not in my post then let me know *one thing i notice while i was making a call with the headset, if i have the headset on and i dial a number i hear on the headset and on the phones speaker the sound of a number being press. dont know if its my headset or its with every palm pre so leave a reply plz*
i've heard that if you're using the headset for music or something and a call comes in, that same button will answer the call. So it is used to receive and end calls. Nice little touch. I really like that next track feature on it.
