Actually, iPhone 3.0 is at this point just an OTA update of the iPhone with the presumption of a new iPhone to be released in June, and Android 1.5 aka Cupcake is an OTA update for the G1.

But you're on the right track. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be lining up in Hopper's pms :)

I am really getting tired of waiting. I went back to Sprint for the Pre.
I have the everything plan which is a little too much for me. I have until May 4th to cancel (30 days) I just may cancel..argh:frown:

I just thanked you in advance of any disclosure. Of course, I would love to get a discount; but admittedly, I am a very private person. I used to be quite gullible though. Lessons learned...! It's sort of funny that this is a good example of human likes and dislikes, human greed and expectations, a desire to obtain a good deal just because it is better to get good value in the market place than lose out to a great opportunity.

Don't get me wrong, I am tempted by the offer, and I would love to accept it; but again, I am cautious and I resist your great offer because I value my privacy. This only shows that we want to be believers of all good things. I thank you again, but may I ask, what prevents you from giving us all the benefit by writing the details in the public forum? Do you have an email address where one may send you a private message?:smile::smile::smile:

BTW, you would do all of us a favor! Since this is a relatively new website, perhaps the Administrator (Chris) might agree to deleting your post or limiting the information to most of the usual writers or frequent message posters?

    P.S.
Please send me the info!... I want to be in... I just read that TheVoiceofReason also joined. He stated above: "But you're on the right track. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be lining up in Hopper's pms."

Fully agree. No reason to get upset. We all want the Pre and I'm sure Palm wants to release it. As long as it comes out before July they are still telling the truth.

It is pretty agonizing, isn't it?

I might suggest (not that you're asking) that you get a pay-as-you-go phone until the Pre hit stores and then decide. I am of the opinion that that the $69.99 plan that Sprint suggests is not required, but is recommended to make sure that users don't incur excessive data fees. It may be possible to get the Pre without the $69.99 plan, but plan on paying an extra $100 at purchase.

    Just my 2ยข,
    .

Are you referring to the successor to SERO, the Everything Plus plans? There is a link out there to a blog of a Sprint VP who gave his information out and anyone can use it.

...I just verified that the information still works. I'm able to access the website for the new Everything Plus referral plan. $60/month for 500 min. and unlimited everything else. And before I get people screaming bloody murder about the old SERO plans, yes, I know they are not nearly as good of a deal, but compared to other providers, they still rock.

w00t thanks for the tip. This is $10 more than my current plan but has 50 more minutes and unlimited texts (vs. my current 300). This is something I can get my head around.

    Thanks again.
