ronnybryant, you have an excellent theory/strategy that makes a whole lot of sense. I'd caution that companies often don't make the most sensical decisions. That being said, maybe the reason you've got no response from anyone is that they are planning exactly what you've said and want to keep it under wraps. Think about it, hasn't the whole release been a huge secret anyway?
Well, I suppose I'll finally see if my theory was right - tomorrow night. Not sure what time the show comes on, probably 8pm since it is a 3 hour special. Up until now, I have not been so put off by the fact that Palm or Sprint have not announced anything; everyone has their speculation(s) and this was mine. So it didn't make since for me to lean towards some other idea about the release date because that would have required me to ignore all that I have written. Now that I'll soon have my answer, one of two things will happen... 1) The Palm Pre will in fact come up on the show and life will be good 2) There won't be so much as a commecrical and I'll just settle in with my HTC Touch Pro, which I have fallen in love with all over again because of this new smokin' hot interface from the Spb and the words Palm Pre will never fall from my lips again! Hmmm... ok, maybe not all of that last part was true
Well that sure as hell didn't pan out! Dang it! Now I'm getting restless!!! I want my Pre now; what the double hockey sticks Palm???
Well we still have 24 tonight which always has a lot of Sprint ads during commercial breaks. We will see.
