Petrified of Scratching from Cases... Howdy all! I just got my Pre yesterday and when it hasn't been in the "come-with" slip pouch it's been in a sock. No joke. I'm a case junkie so I have in mind what I want later on - but I'm needing a solution for now. I looked at Best Buy's Rocket Fish hard case, and then have seen others talking online about other snap cases and have to admit - I'm pretty darn scared to get one. I bought a hard snap case for my iPhone in the past and it jacked up the chrome trim and caused more scratching to it than I would have had it been naked. Anyone have any suggestions as to which hard cases I should look into, those who use and haven't been scratched? Thank you so much! (if this has been posted elsewhere, I'm so sorry - migraine meds make me loopy)
Ooh.. Can I have some? uh,, yeah my migraine is killing me. I just took my Rocket fish case off to check. There's no scratches that I would place on the case. With that said the case will protect from scratches but not from impact damage. I have a nasty crack on the bottom of the from from where mine was dropped kicked. There's a small "line" on the top left corner of the phone, like the plastic separated, but I see no way the case could've done that. There's no clip there. I'm happy with mine still as it doesn't take away from the looks, protects against scratches and covers the more substantial damage the phone has taken.
i had the rocket fish snap on and didn't have any probs or scratches from it. I did buy the ultimate screen protectors from seidioonline.com and they are great! visit vajacases.com, and look @ their pre case, probably the best u can buy for your phone. I bought 1 for my pre and just adore it. It is soft inside for sliding the phone in and out, and it is semi hard and soft on the outside so if u do drop it u will be ok! They are expensive, but totally worth it. I have owned 3 of their cases before and loved all of them. My bf has one for his iphone, but the phone gets too hot and melts the glue on the case. I'm a sucker for vajacases. I have had one for all of my phones. I wish they would release an ivolution case, but I have a feeling with the way the phone is actually made it would be extremely challenging for them to come out with one.
