PhantomSkinz Vs. BestSkinsEver comparison! 43 Pics!!! So I decided to buy Phantomskinz and I am not disappointed. Here are my findings. Right out of the gate I can see the difference clear as day!!! The phantomskinz haven't even had a chance to dry yet and its much better than the BSE in terms of "peel" and feel... BSE skin on vs Bare Pre. You can clearly see the orange peel on the BSE skin. there are a few things to do when you are putting your skin on that I suggest. First is to do it in the bathroom. Tub on the water and let it steam the room a little. Second, don't use paper towel to dry off anything. Third, wash your hands but don't dry them. Fourth, don't be afraid of the water. If it tells you to use a lot of water then do it. You follow these rules and you will be golden. If you are having a problem getting the skin to sit still then I suggest placing one finger on the skin firmly and pressing for about 5 seconds. This will adhere that specific portion of the skin to the phone and allow you to squeegee the rest quickly and effectively.
Thanks. I woke up this morning and looked at my wifes phone and there is absolulely no orange peel whatsoever. I am highly impressed
The PhantomSkinz is a good product and you get great results if you follow the directions about how to do the edges - covered in other threads. It is amazing how smooth the film is - had a few people argue with me that my Pre did not have a skin until they looked closely. Nice product. Thanks for adding the photos - someone had been nagging me to show them photos.
yeah man.... No problem. I just wanted to take really close pictures since people never had not been taking a lot of close and personal pics of the phone.
24hrs later... I took these pictures after the skin had 24hrs to dry. BTW... I never turn my phone off for the installs or the 12 hr period that they claim. I am just very careful when using it because I dont want the skin to peel since its not all the way dry. Other than that, I dont change anything...
And what happend with the zagg product is cheaper with the cupon discount can you make a comparison??
Yes zagg is not that good of a skin if you like the look and feel of the pre. If you want your phone to look all rippled then go ahead but its not cheaper than the BSE or the PhantomSkinz. Phantom skinz is around $7 a skin and it has free lifertime warranty. It has no orange peel and BSE is like $5 plus shipping and handling and has no warramty and has orange peel and makes the phone feel like the keys on the pre feel. I thought it was cool at first for the grip but it soon pissed me off while I was trying to slide my finger across to do the gestures and such. So by far phantomskinz is the best product out the if you want something that looks good and you can't tell its on there

Lol just kidding rate either way. So if you like slick, smooth skins get phantom skins if you like textured, grippy skin get either zagg or BSE...
