Picked up Palm Pixi Plus today My main phone account is with AT&T, so I decided to pick up the Palm Pixi Plus today for $299. My commitment discounts were used up with the iPhone 4. This will allow me to swap between phones and use webOS on AT&T. I enjoyed the Pixi when I reviewed it for Sprint, so figured I'd save myself $100 and go Pixi over Pre. I love the keyboard on the Pixi Plus. The phone itself is the anti-smartphone, smartphone. Not the most powerful, but certainly capable and truly pocketable. Palm profile worked like a charm. Signed in at the store and I was good to go. I guess there was some questions as to whether I'd be able to use a Pixi with an iPhone plan. I use a Nexus One, but the guy said it had something to do with it being unlocked. In any event, I'm not having any issues with it.
I hope HP/Palm keep the form factor of the Pixi Plus and just upgrade it to a better processor the ram to at least 512 mb. and the memory to 16GB ,and woul be a hit.
I agree. One of the reasons I chose the Pixi was because of it's super small size. You can put it in your shirt pocket and not even know it's there.
Hi Chris How you doing As you can see I am posting a little more on my blog I have to find the way to feed the table It is not easy Nobody is buying nothing the visitors just read but don´t buy I don´t know if it is that the economy turn down stills Here in Ecuador the economy situation is hard too. I really miss the forums but there are not too much news about new Palm devices near to come I sent some ideas&suggestions to phil mckinney and directly to hp ceo about what they must change to come back again. If you wish I will e mail it to you in a zip file. Phil suggested me to make it public, but I just sent it to HP. The competition is fast and furious.
