Pre vs. iPhone as an MP3 player..

GO! lol... I'm assuming the iPhone wins so I'm just wondering the main differences between the two. I wish I could have 16GB as well but I refuse to support that fifthly company's antics... hateful, I know. :laugh3:

There was a little article written back in January (so who knows what has changed since then) where in the author lamented that drag-n-drop of your currently-owned music meant that playlists weren't possible. I, for one, hope this isn't true.

As an aside, I registered over at Pandora about 7 minutes ago, and have to say that I am underwhelmed. I much prefer last.fm for its opt-in playlists; hopefully that site will load properly on the Pre. Pandora reminds me of, um, what was it? MusicMatch or some such from 2001 where I got a lot of "you'll like this artist, trust us, so we'll just play it for you."

Im sure the iphone will be better in that regard but like above mentioned we havent seen much of the music player. I dont use my phone to store music so it doesnt bother me too much but if i did the internal store amount would probably bother me. If they just added a micro sd slot it would have made things better. I do plan on using pandora alot though and would recommend it to anyone. I expect to have alot of apps and pictures on the phone so im sure the 7gb of usable space will get used of over time so im going to avoid putting music on it.
