    Rubberized Hard Case review

    Where I got it: accessorygeeks.com
Short Review: I wouldn't recommend it
Long Review: I thought this case look like a good idea, and if I could get the back part on, it might be. The product itself felt really cheap. It took me a few tries to snap on the front cover. After I got it it felt snug. I have been unable to get the backcover on. I can't seem to get all the clips secure. Depending on how I put it on I can't get the top clips in or the bottom and/or side clip. If anyone has a suggestion please let me know. I think I will try and get a silicone case. Anyone know of a site that has them available already? I know fommy.com has some coming out soon.

I bought (what I think is) the same case from an ebay seller...got it yesterday and actually really, really like it. Mine snapped on with very minimal effort and I think it does a great job for what it is. I'm sorry yours isn't fitting well.

I got a hot pink one, though...and I will say this. The color is VERY slightly off between the front and back pieces. I do think that these cases were all tooled/made before the Pre came out and whoever was tooling them didn't realize that the gesture area was covered...so I think that they just made a new front piece and kept the same back pieces. That would account for the slight color mismatch on it. It's not perfect, but it was $7.50 w/ free shipping and it does the job for now. I can even still fit it into the OEM pouch if I turn it inside out, however, the orange exterior w/ the pink phone inside is really fugly.

    What about the keyboard?

I saw a similar case on eBay as well - with the modified front plate. It seems like a good idea, but how does a hard case work with the slider keyboard? Does the case slide down too? Is it hard to type with the hard case?

Thanks, in advance, for your reply.

Well let me start off by saying I did finally get the back piece on right. I'm an idiot. It took a little bit of muscle to get all the clips to hold. That being said I still think the case seems a little cheap. Its a two piece case with a cover for the back and another that goes around the screen.Your best best would be to look at the case on accessorygeeks.com since it sounds like they are very similar. It doesn't cover the keyboard at all however it does make it slightly more difficult to use the top row of keys. Nothing too bad though.
