Posted this in the Pre forum, but this is where it belongs. Amazon has them for 40% less than seidio directly.

shipping states 4-6 weeks, but thats what amazon did with the touchstone and they started shipping after a week. Seidio CS reps state that the case will release nationwide on 7/10. I canceled my order from Seidio directly and just placed it on Amazon.

Yeah, just noticed the price went up $20!!! Amazon's price is now the same as Seidioonline.com. Glad I got my order in yesterday.

The price on Amazon is now $22-something, but it still states shipping will be 4-6 weeks. Seidio's website is now shipping theirs out as of today (put my order in there for $30), but from a limited stock.

Anyone else notice that the grey option was not avalible anymore on the Seidio site and the products are pushed back until the 20th for shipping.

Yeah, and I ordered the Ash Grey. Wonder what that means for me???

Seidio Case

I got mine yesterday and will return it asap. It doesn't stay on - the clips are so tiny it pops off constantly. Too bad, it was a good idea.

You must not have gotten all the clips on right. Mine went on nice and tight and feels fantastic. Almost feels like a new phone. The only drawback might be that the case weakens the magnetic attraction to the Touchstone charger.

There are only 4 clips.......not too difficult to put on. The bottom right one on the top keeps popping up. I think the top may be slightly warped.

How long did you have to wait for yours from the time you placed the order from the time you had it in hand?

Have you contacted seidio's customer service about this yet?

I ordered it July 9th and received it July 16th. So if my calculations are correct, about a week.

Just got an email from Amazon that my order was canceled cause the item is not available.

Great waste of time.

I called and Seidio told me to send them back. Before I did that I thought I would try one more thing - I put a little removable double sided Scotch tape on the phone and then the case and I think it wil work okay now. It holds pretty good. The lower right clip still doesn't want to stay in place but the tape keeps the case from popping off. Our other phone that had the same problem is staying on better now. Our other phone had the same problem but after my daughter kept the phone in her pocket all of one day, it seems to stay on better now. Still my theory is that there is a slight bit of warping and the warmth from being in her pocket has made it fit better.

I noticed that Amazon is now selling the case again (they pulled it mid-July) for $22.40, but they're showing the shipping date as 2-4 weeks. Just a little FYI.

It has not gone up its still 37.50 usd with the case and holster also if u have prime u are going to get it sooner. The problem right now with Amazon is they state that they are going to ship them in 2 to 4 weeks. I pasted the link to probally the best value it also comes in other colors. I have two problems with these cases from Amazon, number one is that I do not want to wait possibly a month for Amazon to ship them to me if they are going to deduct money from my bank account I want the product shipped out the same day. Also my experince with Seidio is they do make good cases I got one for my Iphone 3gs before I switched to the Pre yet I paid close to fifty dollars for the case and holster and it just seems that you get a quality case but they are way overpriced. For now I am using the Rocketfish from Best Buy case and holster for twenty five bucks. Even though the Seidio cases for the Pre are a little cheaper then the ones for the Iphone I really think that the case and holster combo from Seidio should be priced more in the Rocketfish price range. Yet if you want to wait for the Seidio to be shipped through Amazon I would buy from Amazon its a better price then buying from Seidio directly I believe for the holster case combo from Seidio it is 56 dollars with shipping. Hope this helps anyone who is torn between the cheaper cases and the more expensive Seidio case holster combo cheers :dft012:wink

I just ordered mine from Amazon as well w/ Prime shipping it says expected delivery date of 8/12. I also ordered the Palm Pre ClearTouch Crystal Screen Protector (Single Pack) total out the door[FONT=&quot] was $53.75! That beats seidioonline.com @ $55.85 and that doesn't include the screen protector..........I'm stoked!

Thats not bad for the holster case and guards, my prime ran out on yesterday unless I can find three or four people to share it with and divide the 79 dollar a year cost I will probally just buy stuff that is equal or more than twenty five dollars to get the free shipping. You know what I called up Amazon last week wen they still had the Seidio combo package listed as out of stock, I talked to customer service and they made it like they might not get the combo's in for a while, who knows but yeah Amazon is much cheaper then ordering from Seidio I am sure Ebay is going to get flooded with these combo packages now that Amazon has offically started shipping them out, do you mind writing a mini review of the case/holster?

Sure, I'll do my best to write a review once I can get it in my hands. Other posts I had seen about the Innocase is why I went for it as well. But I will post my opinions and pics after I get them.

Ok cool thanks, I actually was on You Tube last night and watched a review of just the case, he was a former Rocketfish case user and explained how Seidio has a lot simplier of a design and that it is just an overall better case, like I think I wrote I have the rocketfish case combo now the holster is great because you can have the phone with the screen in or out, but the actual case that clips on the phone is garbage. Another thing is do you know if the holster your getting in the combo is the one that allows you access to the headphone jack?
