Spell Check / typing shortcuts My first PDA was a Treo running windows OS. My E mail had spell check so I stupidily assumed that spell check was common on all smartphones. Obviously I'm not a smatoperator. Is there anything that I can get to do this on my new pre from Verizon? I also read How to do everthing on a pre. I learned that if I type U it will automatically change it to YOU. Is there a list of other typing shortcuts? If so I would love to see it. Thanks
I don't know of the list, but I do also know if you type "R" it changes it to "are", and if you type "tje" it changes it to "the". Those are the only ones I know off the top of my head.
I just typed thru and it auto corrected to through. I don't remember that happening before. A list wud be helpful. I guess "wud" doesn't change

It also fixes contractions (dont, cant, wont, etc. - if you don't type the apostrophes it will add them)... not sure what it does with things like we'll and I'll, which are words both ways - but cant is a word and it does auto-correct that - so keep an eye out that it doesn't change something you want to keep...
