Sprint store just called about accessories

Sprint store just called, accessories available. Touchstone within

I am on the waiting list for the Pre at a Sprint store near me. They just called telling me everything is going to be on a first come, first serve basis and they are selling the accessories now. Not only that, but they said the Touchstone is $49.99. I am going to head over now and see if I can pick one up :laugh3:

Yea 49.99 just for the charger and the other piece is 20.00 bux making it $70 bux

I think thats the touchstone without the back cover on it. Good Luck in getting one.

I thought that, too. But it came with the back. The device itself has a good weight to it.

Edit: The bottom of the Touchstone is slightly sticky. There is no suction cup. It also does not come with a cord to plug in. I guess it uses the one that comes with the phone.
If you get all four (?) magnets on the back lined up with the charger, it has a good amount of pull to it.

The back of the Touchstone is sticky, so I put a piece of plastic that was covering the battery cover on it. Also, it seems it really was $70 and I got it for $50 as some sort of fluke.

I'm not sure. You should probably call beforehand. They called me out of the blue.

Also:

I am pretty sure that it was supposed to be $70 total. I asked the associate over the phone a few times and he said it was $50. When I got to the store he said it was $50 again. I then asked if that included the back cover. He opened the box and showed me that it did.
Upon ringing me up, he stared at the screen for a while and then talked to someone in the back room. That person typed on the computer, let the associate back on, and that was it.
So I think they gave me the discounted price because he told me it was $50 so many times.

Does Touchstone have a case for portability?

Any suggestions about a carrying case for Touchstone? I am always on the go and do not want to harm the inductive capacities on sticky adhesive properties.

Lame, my local store is very insistent that it won't be in until Saturday at 8am.

Can you go back and buy two more for me at that price. hehe

It comes with a piece of plastic stuck to the bottom. I'd recommend keeping it if you want to keep it clean.

As for a case...the only thing I can think of around this size is an anti-fog solution container.

I live in Charlotte and will be going to get my touchstone charger tomorrow. I'm hoping I will be able to use my 25% discount from being a premier customer.

I feel you on that one. even with the price reduction. how hard is it to grab the wire with your right hand, phone in left hand....and plug in. i'm thinkin' it'll be neat tho to go to your friends and say look...magnets!

ok, so from that one leaked picture of what it comes with....the wall charger didn't look like it had the wire coming out of it....do you take the sync cable and plug that the wall charger plug? if so, that sync cable looked shoooort. but i'm thinking we can just plug sync cable into computer and charge from there rite.

hmm, maybe touchstone IS a good idea. i find i'm 50/50...depends what mood i'm in :-P maybe i'll decide when that MIR comes back :tounge:
