Temp Fix To Slider Shut OFF!!!!!

    Hi guys

We all know that when you use the slider the Pre shuts of or reboots sometimes correct, well here is a simple fix until they find one, this is not my idea i found it on the net somewhere but cant remember where so i did my own pics. As you can see that the battery is pressed tighter in with the paper, with this fix no more shut offs i tried it all day today. All you need is a small piece of paper, fold it and just slip above the black stripe.

I lost my web connection this morning and then later found that my Pre had shut itself down. I re-inserted the battery after reading this article and it worked again. BUT, when it re-started I got a notification that the latest WEB-OS update had been sucessfully installed. I never requested the update, but I assume that was why I couldn't launch any web applications, it was busy downloading the upgrade. Maybe it reset itself after installation? Dunno. Question is, how did the upgrade start by itself?

the pre will download updates when you are not using it. Then after so many days it will just install the update on its own

Most electronic devices today use semiconductor components to perform electron control. The study of semiconductor devices and related technology is considered a branch of physics, whereas the design and construction of electronic circuits to solve practical problems come under electronics engineering. This article focuses on engineering aspects of electronics.
