Things You Might Not Know About The Pre…

Consider this a PSA (Public Service Announcement). I was just sitting here and thinking myself, “There are some small, yet important facts that not everyone knows about the Palm Pre. I must rectify this wrong!” Or something to that effect. Like what, you ask? I’m so glad you did, because I was going to tell you anyway.
-Did you know there is a built-in updates app on the Pre? It’s true. It will check for updates for your phone and allow you to easily install them.

-Did you know the information on your Pre gets automatically backed up every night? Also true, and you don’t have to do a thing.

-Did you know you can lock your screen on the Pre with either a simple PIN or a password?
    [IMG][IMG][IMG]
-Did you know there is a “First Use” utility on the Pre as well? Yup. It will help you set up your phone for the first time and create or link up to a Palm online profile

I'm glad to see there are options for changing what gestures do.. even if it's only one for right now.. I'd like to see an option to change the upward swipe to bring up the launcher first instead of going to card view first and then being able to bring up the luancher. i don't like that they changed that gesture..

    easy there abel.

At the same time we can't blame him for posting this information when he finds this. He is even faster then me but i think he needs to know this is not a contest and are grateful for the info that he finds. You said you do it asap but take your time to give credit its not like when i see something i fast type cus someone is going to beat me to the punch. No no i read it first and see if it is relevant in the sense that people need to know and make sure if no one wrote it up yet. If they did great cus now people know and more info is in our greedy hands muahahaha. Ok that was weird. Thanks .
