I have a Palm Pixi+ running the most current webos and about 4 touchstone chargers. 3 in the house, office, etc on Palm AC adapters. 1 in my vehicle running off a Verizon car charger. All work.

The Verizon charger in the car is flaky as the mechanical wings on the charger are poorly made. I decided to change this charger to a dual port USB charger with a 1amp outlet for general use and another 2.1amp outlet for iPad use. I have several chargers like this from various brands and they work with a Droid 3, iPad & other devices. The touchstone does not work. It does not work if I use the palm cable between the charger and the touchstone or any combination of devices I have come up with so far. The touchstone also does not work on generic USB sources capable of 2.1amps such as the Apple iPad charger or many others I have here.

I've searched around and all the problems seem to relate to insufficient current capacity on the current source but that is not a problem here. All components are independently validated such that I know the Palm works on the touchstone, the cables are good and the charges are working. So, where do I go from here so I can use my USB multi-outlet setups or any general charger for the touchstone capable of 1amp+?
