Touchstone Expansion Kit nor even USB sold anywhere but Palm.com?? I bought a TS with my Pre. The TS stole my USB/Power cord that came with the phone. Sprint does not carry (atleast not yet) the Touchstone Expansion kit (which would give me an extra USB/Power cord and TS base) nor the silly little USB cord itself! If Sprint carried it I would get the 20% discount for buying 2 accessories but I had to pay full retail at Palm.com for the stupid USB Travel Charger just to have an extra to plug in the computer and not have to unplug the TS base all the time and mess with unplugging it from behind my night stand. UGGGHH. Theyre acting like Apple with this nonsense. You can never have too many ways to charge this phone, at work, at home, in the car, etc. The batt life blows.
They don't all work; in fact, my friend and I have yet to find a third-party cable that DOES work (although others have had more success).
I got a Rocketfish micro-usb cable. It works to charge (it comes with an adapter for mini to micro) but I cannot sync the Pre with the cable. At least I can use the adapter to charge the phone with the car charger for the Motorola bluetooth headset.
