Ok so I just bought a Touchstone from amazon with a back plate for $48 shipped. The key was I had to buy them separately. Hope this helps someone.
I noticed you could do that. The back plate is temporarily out of stock though. I'm just going to wait it out and see if the price drops again for the "kit"... in no rush for the touchstone.
What is up with Amazon changing the price of their merchandise, and more specifically, the TS on a whim? I just checked and its now at $60.61. I guess I'll just keep waiting and hoping that it gets lower again. This is really irritating!
Do cases work with the touchstone???? I've been searching for hours now for someone just to give me a simple answer. I JUST bought a clear plastic snap-on case from a Sprint store and now am wanting to purchase the Touchstone. Will the touchstone function with a hard case over it? If not, what would? Without a doubt, I HAVE to have a case or my phone will get beat up. If I can't use one with the Touchstone, I might be out of luck with this cool charger. Any advice would be great!
some cases work with TS and some don't. And the ones that do, don't stick so well....meaning, they attach but are shaken off easier. The most popular, I believe, is the seidio rubbarized case. But a cheap version from ebay is available and still works with TS. I thought I read that Sprint clear case wasn't a good case. Check out the cases at the everythingpre.com store (here)
