Which USB Cable Should I Buy?

I'm intending to buy an extra USB cable from Monoprice.com, but I'd like to know which one is the better choice for the pre.

If if I do search for Palm Pre, Monoprice.com suggests:
USB 2.0 A Male to Micro 5pin Male 28/24AWG

But I've seen other people say they purchased:
USB 2.0 A Male to Micro 5pin Male 28/28AWG

Which one is better for the Pre, and what's the difference?

Just buy the OEM Palm Pre cable and be done with it. Don't cheap out because I keep reading posts about how some aftermarket cables and chargers don't work.

I have found that most usb cables are fine. The problem I have found is with the power end that you plug it into. I have found very few that actually work so I have ordered many Palm AC ends and they work perfectly. The only car cord I have found to be reliable is the Sprint one. It is hit or miss with aftermarket ones.

The difference is the wire size. The first one you list has larger wire.
It's a hit or miss. The cable that came with the 800w will charge, any should charge, but for some odd reason won't sync.

Got me looking. For THIS price I may have to try it.
