Default Preware has Themes Now

Not only did it get faster but now it has themes, even one for it self, Dark as you can see on the above images

Preware with Dark Theme (Edit in Preferences)

Preware Available Themes (31 and Counting)

Whenever you want to change your theme you must remove the prior theme before installing new one, this will not remove your original palm settings to go back just open preware look for the theme you have on and remove

You can find preware here...

Saw that this morning miguel. they still don't have all the themes from prethemer but it's a great start and alternative to using Quick Install...

I was hoping they would have version that could be installed using FileCoaster.

file coaster is very limited, plus it falls under the cap of apps installed, preware uses a different directory where your limit is the free space you have on your pre. but to each there own

I wouldnt mind using Quick Install. But it looks like its really difficult to install.

I agree. Not only that, filecoaster (as I understand it) doesn't do post installation scripts, which means many of the custom apps that need that (themes included) will not properly install using it.

You should really check out PreWare if not Quick Install, it's really a superior project (and I had no hand in its creation haha)

Nah, as long as you have Java on your PC (the latest) you should be fine. It needs Webos Doctor as well, but it even downloads that for you if it doesn't detect it.

I just booted up the app, it shows 34 available themes, which is right on. There's 35 themes on the site, and I have Android Prefection installed so it won't show as available

Welcome aboard!!! When I posted earlier the lost theme that i'm sporting wasn't up yet and only 30 was showing. I love the site and told everybody here about it the moment I did my theme. Love the stuff you and madolen and the rest of the crew are doing. Keep up the great work!

Much appreciated. Though I joined this board a while back it seems, but didn't remember. Duh, that would be why my username was taken when I tried to (re)register ;)

Any feedback or suggestions, I'm wide open
