Best Buy is now selling the Palm Pre on Sprint for $99 with a 2-year contract. That's $100 less than the previous price point and does not require a mail-in rebate. Pricing remains the same at Sprint, who just this week opened up sales of the Pre online and via telesales.
While a number of members were able to purchase the Palm Pre at Best Buy for $99, Best Buy appears to be backtracking on the price cut. If you were on the fence, we'd recommend a quick trip to Best Buy before it goes back to $199.
Of course, this move will likely result in more sales, but will also leave early adopters feeling a bit short changed.
